Benefits of Membership

All membership cards provide the following benefits to the cardholder when presented during a visit to VMFA. Membership cards may be transferred within the member company. 

• 10% discount in the VMFA Shop, Amuse Restaurant, and Best Café
• Free parking in the VMFA Parking Deck during museum hours and events
• Discounts on classes, programs, and ticketed events

Professional Contributor $250–$499

• One professional membership card transferable to employees and clients of the member company
• Participation in monthly Member Day — with free member programs, tours, and lectures
• Entertaining privileges in VMFA galleries and event spaces, subject to cost and scheduling
• Recognition in VMFA’s annual report and website
• Free subscription to myVMFA, a quarterly magazine
• E-communications announcing member events and benefits

Professional Associate $500–$999

All the preceding benefits plus:
• Two professional membership cards transferable to employees and clients of the member company
• Four invitations to opening receptions for banner exhibitions

Corporate Patron $1,000–$2,499

All the preceding benefits plus:
• Three corporate membership cards transferable to employees and clients of the member company
• Six invitations to opening receptions for banner exhibitions
• 20% discount on rental fees for VMFA facilities
• Complimentary Docent-led tour of the museum’s permanent collection for a group of 10, issued upon request and subject to scheduling

Corporate Fellow $2,500–$4,999

All the preceding benefits plus:
• Four corporate membership cards transferable to employees and clients of the member company
• Eight complimentary tickets to banner exhibitions and associated receptions
• One-time complimentary use of the Founder’s Conference Room, issued upon request and subject to associated costs and scheduling
• Complimentary curator-led tour of the museum’s permanent collection for a group of 10, issued upon request and subject to scheduling 

Corporate Benefactor $5,000–$9,999

All the preceding benefits plus:
• Five corporate membership cards transferable to employees and clients of the member company
• Ten invitations to opening receptions for banner exhibitions
• One-time complimentary use of the Claiborne Robertson Room, issued upon request and subject to associated costs and scheduling
• One-time complimentary curator-led, behind-the-scenes tour for a group of 10, issued upon request and subject to scheduling
• Recognition on the museum’s donor plaque
• Discounts on membership for employees — $5 individual, $10 dual or family (two adults and children under 18)

Corporate Founders $10,000–$24,999

All the preceding benefits plus:
• Six corporate membership cards transferable to employees and clients of the member company
• Twelve invitations to opening receptions for banner exhibitions
• Private tour and reception with the Director for up to 25 guests, issued upon request and subject to scheduling
• Complimentary VMFA creativity workshop for up to 25 employees, led by museum educators, issued upon request and subject to scheduling

Commonwealth Society $25,000 and up

All the preceding benefits plus:
• Opportunity to host one “Family Day” at the museum foremployees and guests, subject to scheduling and associated costs
• One-time corporate profile in VMFAe-communications to promote your company’s support of the museum
• Preview of exclusive VMFA sponsorship opportunities
