Help us celebrate the last year of Art on the Spot! Since 2004, the VMFA Art on the Spot program has served over 40,000 students in the metro Richmond Area while the galleries were being transformed. The last 5 years were made possible by generous funding from Genworth Financial.

Please note: while museum galleries are off-view through April 30th, 2010, VMFA is fortunate to offer the Art on the Spot outreach program designed to deliver content to grades K-5 on our collections not currently on view. With the expansion scheduled for completion May 1, 2010, we look forward to welcoming schools back to the museum to learn from original works of art in our exciting new education spaces and galleries.

Please check our education pages regularly to learn about new tours and other educational opportunities.
