Join VMFA during the school year for After-School Art Club  (ages 5 – 8), Foundations in Art (ages 9 – 12) or Young Writers Workshops (ages 9 – 12) or this summer for eight weeks of excitement during our annual children's Summer Art Adventures!   Experience the welcoming studios and staff, quality materials, and world-renown art collection. Each program is carefully tailored to specific age groups, encouraging children to create, learn, grow, imagine, make friends, build self-confidence, and have fun! .  Youth studio programs focus on interdisciplinary studies through arts and history in conjunction with the Virginia Standards of Learning.
