Museum Education

Do you teach Museum Studies or Museum Education Courses? Looking to provide a real-world application for your students? Expand your syllabus and book a session at VMFA!

This complimentary 2 ½-hour introduction to Museum Studies focuses on the organizational, philosophical, and educational aspects of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. Conducted by staff of the Education and Statewide Partnerships Division, your students will receive first- hand accounts of how VMFA is structured and how the museum is used as an active learning environment. When possible, this session may also include curators, conservators, and designers.
